A recent illustration for an upcoming production of the Hansel and Gretel opera - A brief respite from writing a doubtless ground-breaking research paper. I'm now in the final stages and then it's open seas for my current comic project.
Good of you to say, although I'm about to reveal my secret...(in hushed tones) opposite sides of the colour wheel.
In all honesty I've still got plenty to learn, but the best thing my tutor ever taught me is when using watercolours to use a restrained pallette and go from there.
I get the complementary colour stuff... it's the shades, placement, light and shadow (and having a decent drawing would help) that needs to be addressed. I will endeavour and post.
splendid stuff sir... wish I could use colour a third as well as yourself.
